…(drumroll please)…MINDFULNESS MEDITATION IS BACK!! A brand new variation of this ever-popular twice-a-year course packaged into a workshop format! Are you curious about all the buzz around mindfulness….what it is, and what it isn’t? In this 2-hour immersion, led by Rev. Dr. Bart Gould, we will explore the benefits of Mindfulness Meditation for physical, emotional, and mental health, through the lens of neuroscience research. Bart brings a 45-year history with meditation, his light-hearted humor, and an ever-present (and sometimes crazy) wisdom to the cushion. There will be a mixture of teaching, mindful discussions, and practice. No prior experience needed! And….there’s always an “aha” moment to come out of nowhere!

In this course, we will
Learn scientifically proven benefits of mindfulness
Identify the brain centers that create mind chatter and those associated with peace of mind
Practice techniques that are effective to activate present moment awareness
